At MEREFSA, we manufacture and supply high-quality PTFE tubing. We offer Teflon hoses and tubes with thin walls of up to 2 mm and inner diameters ranging from 0.25 mm to 25 mm, providing a versatile solution for fluid conveyance systems. Thanks to the properties of PTFE, these tubes stand out for their high chemical resistance, low friction, and excellent thermal stability, making them ideal for environments that require inert and highly durable materials.
Product Information
Pipes made from fluoropolymer resins, particularly PTFE, are known for their excellent chemical and thermal resistance (ranging from -70 ºC to +260 ºC), biocompatibility, extremely smooth surface with a low coefficient of friction, good electrical insulation, flame-retardant properties, and characteristic non-stick nature. These qualities make PTFE one of the most versatile materials for piping, offering multiple applications across industrial sectors.
Types of Fluoropolymer Pipes
PFA Pipes: In addition to their high thermal and chemical resistance, their transparency makes them ideal for applications such as level indicators in aggressive chemicals.
FEP Tubes: FEP tubes are heat-weldable with other fluoropolymers, although their thermal resistance is lower, with a limit of +204 ºC.
At MEREFSA, we can supply PTFE pipes with inner diameters ranging from 0.25 mm to 25 mm, as well as PTFE hoses with an exterior reinforcement in metal, aramid, or polyamide, available in both full rolls and custom-sized pieces with fittings. We also offer the possibility of manufacturing custom-colored PTFE, PFA, and FEP tubes according to the client's needs.
Wide Range of PTFE Pipes and Hoses in Permanent Stock
We maintain an extensive permanent stock of fine PTFE tubing and PTFE hoses, offering solutions tailored to various industrial applications.
Corrugated PTFE Tubes: The wavy design of these tubes provides an extremely low bending radius, making them one of the most versatile options on the market.
- Standard thickness: Inner diameters ranging from 8 mm (5/16") to 100 mm (4").
- Thin wall thickness: Inner diameters ranging from 20 mm (3/4”) to 50 mm (2”).
Manufacturing and Customization Options
We can manufacture pipes with smooth or flared ends, as well as fittings coated with the same inner tube, preventing direct contact of fluids with the fittings and ensuring greater chemical resistance. Additionally, our corrugated PTFE hoses can be reinforced with metallic, aramid, or polyamide exterior layers and are available in both full rolls and custom-sized pieces with fitting ends.
As indicated in our stock table, we have a system that updates every 5 minutes, allowing our customers to check the real-time availability of our fine PTFE pipes and PTFE hoses. By clicking on the stock, the quantity is updated automatically, ensuring efficient and accurate order management.
Main characteristics of PTFE fine pipe
PTFE pipes and hoses stand out for their exceptional properties, making them a highly versatile solution for various industrial applications.
The most notable properties are:
- No elastic memory, ensuring dimensional stability and preventing deformation over time.
- Excellent chemical resistance, compatible with a wide range of aggressive substances.
- Wide working temperature range of -70 ºC to +260 ºC, withstanding extreme conditions.
- Biocompatible, ideal for applications in the medical, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
- Extremely smooth surface with the lowest coefficient of friction, minimizing pressure loss and residue buildup.
- Good electrical insulation, making it ideal for applications in the electronics and high-tech industries.
- Non-flammable, offering safety in high-demand environments.
- Non-stick, preventing residue buildup and facilitating cleaning in industrial processes.
Thanks to these properties, PTFE pipes and hoses are one of the most efficient and durable options on the market, adapting to multiple sectors with high technical demands.
