Calendered
The process of calendering is aimed at producing completely homogeneous silicone sheets of different thicknesses. To start this process, the machine is fed of silicone that moves under pressure between metal cylinders at high temperatures that turn in opposite directions. The distance between them will be what determines the thickness of the plate. This continuous production process ends with the cutting of the sheets in certain widths and winding in rolls of standard lengths depending on the thickness. In this final process, depending on the needs, the notched can also be performed. These plates are used as raw material in secondary cutting processes or as final product.
Compact silicone sheets and sponge silicone sheets
In Merefsa we have permanent stock of plates and plates of spongy silicone calendered 10 meters in length with a width of 1000 mm and thicknesses ranging from 1.5 mm to 30 mm and which can also Be with an adhesive face. We can also supply molded sponge plate from 1.6mm to 40mm in 1000mm x 1000mm format, in any color and quality. In compact silicone plate we have stock in thicknesses from 0.3mm to 15mm in rolls of 1200mm width, other formats on demand. The usual term in silicone plate that we do not have in stock, is 2 to 3 weeks.

- Any type of base: standard insulating silicone (MVQ), silicone conductive, silicone for steam, fluoro silicone (FVMQ), high temperature silicone (THT), low temperature silicone (PMVQ), silicone cured with platinum salts, silicone suitable for food contact complying with the FDA. (CFR21 sección 177.2600), BgVV (recomendación XV)and medical grade silicone being able to comply with USP class VI.
- Any type of hardness: standard manufacturing in compact silicone

Standard manufacturing in 0.25 gr / cm3 sponge silicone, although we can manufacture molded silicone plate in densities ranging from 0.2 to 0.8 gr / cm3 in any basic color. - Any color: Manufacture in any basic color and any custom RAL as well as in luminescent, fluorescent or metallic colors.
